Rahova prison in Bucharest

TORTURE INSTITUTION RAHOVA - BUCHAREST (EU) - THE FILM - THE SO-CALLED KITCHEN AND HYGIENE

Torture institution Rahova - Bucharest (EU), the so-called kitchen which is supposed to provide food for up to 2000 people (among them minors and inmates with chronic diseases).

Mould, dirt, bacteria, expired food, slaughterhouse waste ...

The so-called food is prepared without sanitary controls or minimum hygiene standards.

There are no cooks! The so-called orderlies, unpaid slaves, must prepare the low-quality, partially rotten food.

Given the situation, sanitary controls and personal hygiene do not fulfil the minimum requirements.

The food is put in dirty, mouldy metal containers and carried outside for kilometres, across the property, by slaves without face masks or gloves. It is then "sold" (through bribes) to the poorest of the poor.

People get sick everyday or die because of permanent malnutrition and unhygienic conditions.
