2017 is the year of protests in Romania !!!
This has not happened since the overthrow of the communist dictator Ceausescu 27 years ago.
Since 05.11.2017 people are back on the streets. There are protests all over the country again.
The demos are again scheduled for several days to weeks.
The demonstrators in Bucharest are moving (as they did earlier this year with more than 500,000 people daily) to the “Pervasive Parliament Building“, where a bill is currently being debated to limit the powers of the public prosecutor’s office responsible for corruption in the future, the agency will no longer be able to investigate administrative officials, while at the same time extending the Ministry of Justice’s control of anti-corruption prosecutors.
